Head of Marketing
Enginy AI is a Barcelona-based startup on a mission to revolutionize how B2B sales and prospecting teams operate. Our cutting-edge AI-driven lead generation technology empowers sales teams to focus on what truly matters: selling. By automating manual prospecting, we help optimize workflows, ensuring a predictable and scalable sales pipeline—no wasted time, just results.
After successfully raising €5 million in a landmark seed funding round, we are looking to grow our teams and scale in key markets.
About the role
You will own Enginy's inbound engine end-to-end and be directly accountable for revenue. Your mission is to build and scale the channels, content, and conversion systems that will drive +€3M New ARR in 2026, with CAC payback under 10 months.
This is a player-coach role: senior enough to build the function and hire the team, hands-on enough to execute the work yourself in the early phase. You'll think like a revenue owner, not a traditional marketer.
Revenue & Funnel Ownership
Own the inbound ARR target end-to-end: Traffic → MQL → Demo → Pipeline → Revenue
Be accountable for the numbers behind it: MQL → Demo >40%, Demo → Win >25%, pipeline coverage 3–4x, CAC payback <10 months
Drive strong weekly alignment with Sales on pipeline quality and conversion
Own funnel visibility, dashboards, and the analytical work behind every decision
Demand Generation
Build scalable inbound channels from zero: paid acquisition, SEO, retargeting and intent-based campaigns, and founder-led content
Go deep on 2–3 channels rather than spreading effort thin across everything
Run fast experimentation cycles and double down on what works
Product Marketing & Positioning
Own positioning, messaging, ICP, and personas
Define clear differentiation vs competitors and help the market understand why Enginy wins
Own website messaging and core sales assets
Website, Conversion & Content
Treat the website as a core revenue lever and own conversion across key pages and flows
Build strong bottom-of-funnel pages: product tours, use case pages, comparison pages, alternatives pages, case studies
Make content revenue-driven, not fluffy — focused on supporting pipeline generation rather than awareness
Team Building
Build the marketing function in phases. Likely first hires: Performance and Content / PMM
Later hires: SEO, Design, Marketing Ops
Lead with strong 1:1s, direct and actionable feedback, and a real understanding of how to get the best out of different people
About you
Proven B2B SaaS marketing experience, ideally having scaled inbound from 0 → €1–5M ARR
Has opened channels from scratch and can clearly explain what worked, what didn't, and why
Strong across demand generation, product marketing, funnel optimization, and conversion thinking
Player-coach style: comes from lean teams and is comfortable executing, not just coordinating
Strong prioritization and judgment — knows what to say no to
Data-driven mindset; uses data to prioritize, not opinions
Strong builder mentality, comfortable bringing structure into ambiguity
Strong enough to challenge ideas, including founder ideas, when needed
Big plus: strong point of view on AI tools for marketing (content, video, automation, research, workflows)
